The new issue of Business Black Box is out. My piece is on page 46 and is called “Pros and Cons of the Non-Compete.” I learned a lot writing this article– things that probably would have been good for me to know through my career in television when I would blindly sign my life away because I thought I had no choice. There’s a chance I was right because TV is so competitive that they can make you do a lot of things just because there are people lined up willing to take your job if you don’t want it.
